sorry for the lack on updates. Due to the death of one of my best friends (and drummer for Maserati) Gerhardt “Jerry” Fuchs, I was not capable of doing any work for the label. Some things are way more important than records. All of this is still really intangible for me.

Thanks to all the people who wrote an email or said sorry in any way. It really means a lot and helps going through this.

The future of the band Maserati is still unknown, but the band will work harder than ever so that the new record will be released sometime in 2010. The drums were already recorded before Jerry`s death. This will seriously be the best record the world has ever seen!

I will be out from today until 19th November for the funeral of Gerhardt “Jerry” Fuchs. My friend and drummer for Maserati died in a tragic accident last Sunday.
He will be missed more than words can express.

For the vinyl lovers: this baby is SICK! 2xLP, 180gr vinyl, gatefold cover with the thickest cardboard (400g/m²) you can imagine and download coupon!
Pressing info: 100 on white vinyl & 400 copies on black.
Both are available in our online store. The limited version is selling fast. The CD version comes with a 12 page booklet.

well, as you can already see in the headline: the vinyl version for the AIRPEOPLE arrived today. Preorders were send out today as well and you should have those on Friday I guess (when you live in Germany).

As for the IRA release: the CD version is about being finished and  the 2xLP is about being done as well. Preorder is up soon!

IRA will be supporting the great Oceanize on their upcoming tour in November. Check out the tourdates if they rock a town nearby. There also some solo shows coming out. Those dates will be added soon.

finally some bigger news: AIRPEOPLE from Germany join our small roster.
Their debut full-length will be released as CD/LP/Digital on 25th September. This is a cooperation with Earth Water Sky Connections. You can already listen to one track on our MySpace site. Go and check it out. The record features nine furious and groovy track that make you shake your hips. Artwork was done by Sebastian “Sebo” Feld who did stuff already for Les Savy Fav, Red Sparowes or Tephra.

There will be a limited version for vinyl – 100 copies will come in nice gold. 400 on black. You can preorder now your copy – just go to our shop!

Gosh, it`s so hot here. I don`t even want to go outside as it`s so hot. Summer is cool, but too hot = not cool.

Anyway, some random news. MASERATI will be doing some basic tracking for the new record this month. Excited. A.ARMADA are also working on new stuff, but that is coming together really slow. Same story for DATURAH.

But I had the pleasure to listen to the unmixed and unmastered songs from the new DEL REY record. And that shit blows your speakers. Be prepared!
